an ambient swirl of colourful images phasing in and out of each other, this centres on the mirrored reflections and echoes of an old plasma ball, which pulses softly in time with the music.

These Hives
Dir: Beaches of the Proud
Shot at various locations in Spain, Italy, Scotland and Australia, this somewhat international film features a series of hypnotic scenes that enlessly zoom out of each other, emphasising the loneliness, isolation OR comparitive insignificance of the original subject. As the music swells into a crescendo, the time is reversed and the original scenes are fleetingly revisited, bringing to mind the regard we usually have for these simple objects; we barely have time to stop and look.

Waves Of Warmth
Dir: Beaches of the Proud
This video is intended purely to emphasise the peaceful and gradual variations in the music. the original track was inspired by the constant rythms of the sea, be they oceanic swells or tiny wavelets lapping against the shore. the aim was to synchronise each section of music with similar visuals, both in texture and wave tempo. Therefore, The video shifts from tiny waves making regular patterns in the ice, to regular mid sized beach waves rolling up to the shore, to gentle tides rocking back and forth, depending on the mood of the music.

Inside
Dir: Beaches of the Proud
a silly little video, stitching together mobile phone footage of various examples of humorous dancing. The music has nothing in particular to do with the video, its just a vaguely dancey tune that fits.

Peace under a landslide
Dir: Emile Shemilt
This, along with Midnight flies (below) were taken from a series of visuals used in some Beaches live shows, and created by Emile Shemilt and Darren McNaney. Therefore, they were not created for these specific songs, but were retrospectively exctracted from the visual reel and applied to the music that seemed to suit them best.
